Debido a su éxito, la exhibición permanecerá abierta hasta el 12 de febrero de 2017, a fin de que el público pueda seguir disfrutando de esta experiencia una semana más. Para las niñas, niños y adultos a quienes les apasiona LEGO, el artista Nathan Sawaya viene a ser un superhéroe. Durante esta última década, el exabogado convertido en artista ha elevado el simple juguete a una deseada obra de arte, y ha inspirado a una multitud de niñas y niños a pensar de forma más creativa. Sawaya ha encontrado la inspiración en las historias de superhéroes para esta exposición –The Art of the Brick DC Super Heroes–, que incluye esculturas de LEGO que emulan a los legendarios personajes de DC, vehículos, entornos y temas que están presentes en la mitología de DC. The Art of the Brick DC Super Heroes incluye más de 120 obras originales, creadas exclusivamente a partir de piezas LEGO, incluyendo un “batmóvil” a escala real 5,5 metros y construido a partir de medio millón de piezas estándar. Inspirado por personajes legendarios como Batman, Superman, Mujer Maravilla, Joker, Harley Quinn y otros, Sawaya ha plasmado a gran escala algunos de los superhéroes y villanos más icónicos de DC, que cuentan con más de 80 años de historia.
